On day 4 we are headed northward toward Scotland stopping overnight at Carlisle. The first leg of our trip will take us through Wigan. We hope to try out a Wigan Pie Barm (meat pie on a bun – if they still make them) at Galloways located at 27 Market Place in Wigan. Or maybe at Greenhalghs Craft Bakery.
Our trip will then take us through the Lake District with such places as Windemer and Keswick. We end the day at a quaint hotel in Carlisle.
